Hi
First of all thanks to Ubuntu Community and special thanks to Mr. Seth
Hasani, Mr. Mick Bird, Mr. Koybe. With the help of these people I have
corrected the configuration file of postfix and now it can relay mails.
Also my fetchmail is working good now.
A little problem I am facing after correcting configuration is that now
it relays all the mail to the ISP server. Whether its a mail for
account whose user account also exist on the same machine or for a POP
user.
Another is - I installed iPOPd server to activate POP3 server so that
users could collect mails using pop3 server (iPOPd version 7:2002).
When I ran port scan it showed pop 2 ports pop3 pop3s. But when I
configure a client (Evolution or Thunderbird) it returns error:
Unable to connect to POP server 192.168.3.51.
Error sending username: -ERR Unknown AUTHORIZATION state command
Please enter the POP password for test on host 192.168.3.51
Even after entering correct passwords for number of times it returns
same error. Restarting the system also did not solve the problem.
Please help to configure pop also.
Thanks
Ashwani Jain
