removable Media not mounted

Thanks for your answer.

I use Gnome and it worked all the time since i use Ubuntu (Warthy).
But suddenly it stopped working.
If i mount it "by Hand" it works, no prob - but it should be automated,
as it was. And create an icon on the desktop, what not does happen.
I´ve installed this "autofs" - no change.

any othe ideas?
