DVD Player Error

Please, not that site again.  There have been many discussions about 
problems with the advice given there.

Further, would you please notice that the OP has just installed Ubuntu
5.10 and right at the top of the link you provided it says 'Unofficial
Ubuntu 5.04 Starter Guide'
       ^^^^

To the OP, I don't know what a NAV packet is, but have you followed the
advice given here?
