Is this X bug fixed yet?

Just a few minutes ago, my laptop crashes actually it's just the monitor
went blank.

I thing it has to do with the `xv' video driver. I remember read
somewhere the following will crash X:

1. play media using `xv'
2. suspend
3. play media using `xv' again

You could see that the mouse cursor disappears, gdm fails and the monitor
goes blank completely. And the only fix is reboot the computer by
pushing the power button.

I HATE THIS BUG. Let's nail it down.
