Back in the dark ages we fixed a PC which crashed 10 minutes into
a game as you jumped over a dinosaur's head.  There were 36 RAM
chips to replace and we had played the game over 20 times and
replaced over 20 chips before we found the faulty one.  With
chip swapping time and reboot time it took about six hours.

Memory testers find most errors but not all, particularly where
there's a pattern sensitivity.
