VMWare : how to access shared folders (Ubuntu as guest OS) ???

You probably need to mkdir the "hgfs" directory and the "<sharename>" 
directory in /mnt (as sudo). Then hopefully you can mount the share 
(although I'm not sure where the source would be... /dev/?)
