VMWare : how to access shared folders (Ubuntu as guest OS) ???

Hi,
I just installed the latest (5.5) VMWare workstation on Breezy.
It's an amazing piece of software... I will be very sad indeed, when the
30 day trial period expires...
Question: I created a virtual machine to install Windows XP, works
perfectly, and I can access shared folders in Windows file manager,
under "network neighbourhood", easy.
But today, I got the idea of creating another virtual machine, to run
Linux. I installed Ubuntu Dapper Drake into it. It's very practical,
this way I can update Dapper and assess the changes, without having to
leave Breezy to reboot the machine. It's also ideal as I can take
"snapshots" of Dapper, so that I can easily/quickly recover it, in case
some update screws things up badly (kernel, Xorg...)
But I can't see how to access my shared folder in Dapper. There is
nothing obvious in Nautilus, no network shares or anything.
Where does VMWware map shared folders when the guest OS is
Linux/Ubuntu ??
Thank you very much in advance ! :-)
