I just checked by running glxinfo and glxgears, it was SLOW.  Another
thing is that it seems that the DRI is not loading, at least according 
to the output from glxinfo.  After a bit of research I solved part of 
the problem by dropping my default depth from 24 to 16, which
speeded things up some.  Now I just have to do some more digging
on the DRI issue.
