Problems with RTL8139D NIC

Well, it can be done.  You cant use the same ip cause it is two 'seperate
machines' the IP is after all only a 'soft' setting that defines the
'machines' address.  You can have a number of addresses on a network card
and they can be deprecated or not. Point is it is working with the VMWare.
I want to run it stand alone but I have no network then as Ubuntu is not
using the Realtek NIC as it should hence the question to the forum!
