Totem error message

Well, by hook or by crook, I got all of the above installed.  I can't find:
> gst-register-0.8

Even so, I still can't see any of the videos at 
http://www.stupidvideos.com/?VideoID=1344.
With QT clicked on this site, a couple of frames flash by then nothing.
With Windows clicked, Firefox crashes.
