Mutt + GNOME Terminal = occasional display garbling

GNOME and KDE's terminal programs both have emulation bugs, in my experience.
I tend to jump ship for xterm rather than working out the problems in other
programs.  xterm has been around for long enough that the emulation is very,
very good.  I imagine the code is a horror to look at, but terminal emulation
is dead enough that a stable product works pretty well. =)

Emulation bugs in GNOME's terminal and KDE's konsole have driven me crazy for
years.  Not to say that I know what you're describing is a bug.
