I upgraded my iRiver this morning to UMS firmware. Everything seems to work fine. Now I can use it also as usb-stick. Not really relevant to this thread, but I also installed Damn Small Linux embedded in it. After that there is still room for music files and I can use DSL inside Linux and Windows without booting. Actually it is quite slow, but nice trick :-) -- Ufo
