Has Ubuntu replaced Windows on your box?

I think "can't" & "no" are a little inaccurate. But I understand your 
point... "out of the box" features still need some improvements.

I was able to get a better refresh rate by inserting a custom modeline 
entry into my xorg.conf, and there are games that will work (I plan on 
trying Doom3 soon), however they usually also require some "tinkering" 
under the hood.
