Hi Deep Thinker,
I installed my linksys PCI wireless card with info from this site. Heaps of
help.
http://hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/Wireless.html
I had to download a special supplicant to handle WPA-PSK.

Deep> Hello All,
Deep> I have posted this before, but haven't found an answer yet. Wireless
Deep> is the only connection possible for this system due to physical
Deep> restraints so I kinda need to get it going.
Deep> I am running ubuntu 5.04 on a Gateway Profile 2.
Deep> The only thing I can't seem to get configured is my Wireless card.
Deep> I have 2 possible cards I can choose from
Deep> 3Com PCMCIA (3CRPAG175)
Deep> Linksys Dual Band A+G (WPC55AG)
Deep> For the 3COM ...
under SYSTEM>>ADMINISTRATION>NETWORKING the card is listed and the
Deep> station says "The interface ath0 is active." I have put in my ESSID
Deep> and my 128 bit encryption key. The card is blinking and looks like it
Deep> is trying to do something. But I cannot connect to the Internet or any
Deep> local resource.
Deep> The output of iwconfig Shows my Access Point MAC address as
Deep> FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF (which we all know is incorrect).
Deep> I cannot turn off the encryption on the access point, since I am at
Deep> work and that would be too risky.
Deep> 'dmesg' shows
Deep> IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver
Deep> ath0: no IPv6 routers present
Deep> My router is running DHCP and all internal IPs are 10.1.1.?
Deep> I am stuck. What should my next troubleshooting step be? Where can I
Deep> go for more info on how to solve this?
