Session Manager screwed up!

Hey everyone,
I asked this question before, but didn't any answers. I thought that maybe
if I ask it a different way, I will get better results.
A couple of weeks ago, GDM, the session manager, stopped logging me
automatically into Fluxbox like it had for the previous 4 months. It
defaults to Gnome, but if I select Fluxbox from the Sessions menu, Fluxbox
starts normally. What it does NOT do is ask me if I want to make Fluxbox my
default setting anymore.
Similarly, it does NOT recognize the "Last" setting, instead always logging
me into Gnome.
This is all happening on my account. On the guest account that I have set
up, all these functions work normally, which leads me to believe that there
is something in my home directory that is missing/corrupt.
I am stumped and can't find anything out in the wild to help me and the
folks on IRC have been ZERO help. Does anyone out there have experience with
GDM and it's internal that can give me a clue as to what has happened and
how to fix it?

Thanks,
Lee
