FTP synch

Hello,

I'm looking for a tool that is able to synchronyze a directory
(and subdirectories) with a directory that is only available 
via ftp.

What i'm looking for is something like this:

- make some changes in some files in, let say, /web
- run the tool that is uploading only the files that have been
  changed, and (possibly) delete the files i deleted.

The only restriction is that I only have FTP-access. I've been
looking at rsynch; but I think I can't do it with that
(unless I didnt look good enough...)

Anyone an advice?
