K3b and Nautilus not burning CD

ubuntu does not turn on DMA to the CDROM by default. both my desktop and
laptop will make coasters under ubuntu if DMA is not on, so maybe that's
your problem as well. check www.ubuntuguide.org for instructions on how
to turn on DMA.
