NVidia binary driver for card unsupported in current driver

You might wish to do

 # export CC=gcc-3.4

instead of the symlinking you have done previously. I think it changes
more stuff in the build environment than just gcc itself (automake etc).

I can't really see any *real* errors in the build log from the driver,
so can't help much there.
