Another program that works very well is gramofile. You need something 
else to edit the WAV files though, such as gnoise, and then you have to 
encode them to ogg or mp3, but that's a different subject. I use 
gramofile a lot. Audacity is cool, but sometimes the elegant simplicity 
of gramofile speeds things up for me. (Life is too short for all that 
mouse-clicking)
