KDE Ubuntu vs. Kubuntu?

This is getting to be a FAQ!  :-)
You can indeed do as you wish and the result will also be as you wish.
I should know - that's what I did, so I know it works flawlessly.
Also gives you a MUCH more full-featured KDE and apps than are available in 
Kubuntu.

Debates about Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Ubuntu-KDE are simply about personal preference.
Strangely (or at least it seems strange to me) I haven't seen much debate 
about creating a full-featured Ubuntu-Gnome and Enlightenment.
