Default user session setting

Hello all,
     When logging in(GDM under Hoary) and changing my session type, it
no longer asks me if I want to make this my default session.  Because
of that, my default session is stuck as Gnome and the "Last" setting
doesn't remember what the last session was. I use Fluxbox pretty much
exclusively.
    This problem just cropped up last week and I have no idea why.  I
did not make any changes or install anything new.
