What's the best (different is probably the right word) ways people are
mainting their address/contact info. I one Sony Clie and another Palm
Pilot, but unfortunately the new Palm does not synch with Ubuntu.

Like always, Rajiv, a big fat vote of confidence for
Emacs related stuff. I have seen plenty of posts on
the BBDB list about syncing with Palm but I don't
remember much. I just did http://www.sourceforge.net
searched 'bbdb': SyncBBDB2 looks promising. Certainly
you've already been there.

I am gradually moving a lot of stuff to Tomboy (the best piece of
GUI-based software I recently found) but unfortunately, it's much more
harder to back up and retrive Tomboy data without using Tomboy then
Palm. I can still export Palm data as text or CVS and store it in my
Gmail as a text file making it more searchable.

What are some of the non-traditional ways people are maintaing their
contact info across multiple platforms? Has someone tried Insidious
   Big Brother Database for Emacs?

I have been using BBDB for two years, but not across
different platforms. Sorry. But again, look at the
list archive, a considerable portion of the posts on
the list pertain to the Perl scripts that make it
happen.

Let me know if you want me to stop following up your
Emacs related posts.
