normally you would edit /etc/gdm/Sessions but that file has gone, what
you can do as a quick solution is to create a ~/.xsession file and put
this in :

exec larswm

and then restart gdm and if all is well (.xsession needs to be
executable ?) then you have a new choice "Xsession" or something
