installing Qt

I wish to install the Open Kiosk app NodeView from
http://openkiosk.sourceforge.net/

It requires Berkeley DB 4.x and Qt 3.x.

I installed Berkeley DB 4.3.28 fine, but when I mark qt3-apps-dev for
installation, Synaptic reports the following error:

qt3-apps-dev:
 Depends: libqt3-mt-dev but it is not going to be installed

Am I missing a repo, or is there another difficulty I've overlooked?
