The above is probably the best way to start Perl as a matter of fact it
is exactly the way I started with the exception of learning C first. In
addition Perl.org has a beginners list that is *great*. However, there
is alot of activity on this list so be prepared. You must sign up at
http://www.perl.org. The list's name is beginners at perl.org.
