Hi.

I am trying to use a keyspan bt-2a bluetooth/usb adapter on my hoary
machine. There is a problem in loading the firmware, it seems, and I see
the following in dmesg:

Bluetooth: Core ver 2.7
NET: Registered protocol family 31
Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.7
Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.5
Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usbcore: registered new driver hiddev
input: USB HID v1.10 Mouse [062a:0000] on usb-0000:00:1d.1-1
usbcore: registered new driver usbhid
drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: v2.0:USB HID core driver
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
Bluetooth: HCI USB driver ver 2.7
usbcore: registered new driver hci_usb
Bluetooth: Broadcom Blutonium firmware driver ver 1.0
bcm203x_probe: Mini driver request failed
bcm203x: probe of 1-1:1.0 failed with error -5
usbcore: registered new driver bcm203x

A search for this error message showed tha the problem could be because
of missing firmware, so I installed BCM2033-FW.bin BCM2033-MD.hex from
bluez-firmware-1.0.tar.gz in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware. However, this
gives the same error as above.

Any idea how to fix this?

TIA,
Vijay
