yes.  go spend 60$us on a linksys firewall and let it do the PPPoE for 
you.  I did this for a friend of mine and it's working great.  Another 
advantage is that you can put as many machines as you want on the network.

if you feel like a do-it-yourself kit, set up a PC, two ethernet cards, 
and IPCop and you have the same thing only better.
