No Sound

Have you tried to load the module?

sudo modprobe snd-cs46xx

If a 'FATAL: module snd-cs46xx not found' appears, make sure you have
the module in /lib/modules/*/kernel/sound/pci/cs46xx/

where * is the kernel you have running.
