Is a RT2500 chip wireless card a good deal?

I got my Linksys card working by following this page:

I just cannot be sure that it works everytime, since later on I got a new cvs
daily build and after that the machine began to lock up fairly soon since login.
Of course, I am not sure whether this is exactly what caused it, and I haven't
upgraded again.

I'll do a newer driver install over this coming weekend, and post results if it
helps.
