is ubuntu suitable for computer without internet connection..

well.. thank u very much Guido and for the others who helped me.. All
of your explanation are very useful.. so now i'll install ubuntu on my
dorm's computer.. hope its' going on well.. if i have further
problems.. don't forget to help me okay.. thank u very much..
