Opinion: Java, Mono, Ruby, and Python in Linux == Problem?

It _should_ all be Java :-) ... but I seem to have to use Python (and of
course Perl) a lot.  I _think_ Ruby's installed, but definitely not mono. 
They're hardly a waste of resources when they're not doing anything.
