Hi all,

I'm using Ubuntu on my Laptop. So far I like it for the most part. It's
clean, easy to set up and fun. I'd consider using it for my desktop,
however there is one show stopper. I can't find a tool that I really
like to use for file maintenance called Midnight Commander (mc). I
haven't been able to download that from the debian repositories because
I haven't gotten a hold of the correct public key.

This is what I'd like to know.

A. are there reasons why mc is not included with the Ubuntu
distribution? Is it non free software?

B. How would I go about setting up the debian repository to get a copy.

It's a small thing but so useful!!!
