Looking for an interresting programming project to participate

I suspect that just about any open-source C++ project that uses XML
will suit your needs. I suggest you find a project that you really
care about (perhaps one that you use regularly and that you'd like to
see improve), and ask someone to give you a small task on that
project. Then see how things go.

A few thoughts:
- If the project doesn't interest you, then you may not be willing to
strugle through the difficult parts of coding it. And its those very
times that are most educational.

- Don't initially attempt a programming task that's overly ambitious.
If you do, that may delay your gratification (the satisfaction of
checking in your improvement) for so long that you never finish it.

Good luck.
