Ahh.  In that case, yes, install them with apt-get.  The problem is that they 
aren't NECESSARY, just recommended or suggested as good things to have.  So 
the choice is left up to you.  Just to make it a *little* easier:

apt-cache show quanta | grep -e Recommends -e Suggests | cut -d : -f 2 | tr , 
" " | sudo xargs echo apt-get install
