The current 9.x series of amaya looks pretty good. Never been to
impressed with the 8.x series. I also find NVU (installed from the
backports) tends to crash unexpectedly, usually when clicking the
source tab to view source.
Quanta, Screem and Bluefish are excellent if you want to work with the
code directly. Quanta is probably the best because it has an internal
preview using Konqueror.
