a non Linux question for Spanish people

Greetings,

I'm off to Cordoba for a few days next week to stay with some friends.
I'm being told that the temperature is getting up to 37-38 degrees in
the afternoons!

Can anyone confirm this?
(This seems rather high for spring - but then again I'm used to English
weather - don't laugh - where anything above 20 degrees is seen as
sweltering heat!).
