Here is how I make java works in Opera!

I installed Java on Ubuntu 4.10 the way that indicated in the Wiki.

My java version is JDK 1.5.0_01. After Opera was installed, go inside
Opera do Tools --> Preferences or Ctrl+F12, the Preference window will
pop up, then click on Advance tab, then click on the "Content" menu, a
list of check list box will show up on the right side, at this point
the "Enable Java" box should be uncheck yet, go ahead and check it,
then the "Java Options" buttons will show up, again click on it,
another window "Java" will pop up! Now here is the fun part, that is
the meat of the set up. The magic Java path should be set to:

/usr/lib/j2sdk1.5-sun/jre/lib/i386/

This is found out by the lots of try and error, even the Opera web
site's knowledge base don't have the update for this informations. I
almost pull all my hair out! Anybody have a different setup?

Tell you the fact, I don't use Opera much, just for checking my Applet
and such, I use Firefox all the time.
