3 years no print with Linux

I've actually found printing pretty reliable on Linux recently, both at
work (networked HP LaserJet) and home (older HP LaserJet 5L, via USB ->
Parallel cable). If anything, I've found it better than Windows XP (home
edition), which consistently glitches on some documents (very wierd and
I've not got to the bottom of it).

That's not to say that Linux printing is perfect, and my printed output
is pretty low volume and undemanding, but I'm surprised by your stories!
Hope some people come along with specific experience who can answer some
of the questions!
