printer in XFCE

The Xfce print manager only lets you choose which Linux print system it
will use.  You have to set up the printer in CUPS and then choose CUPS
in the XFCE print manager.    If you still have Gnome installed, use
the GNome print manager to add the printer.  There's a web interface
for CUPS if you've uninstalled Gnome, but administration tasks have
been diabled in GNome for some reason.  If you search this forum for
CUPS, there is a thread somewhere that explains how to re-enable the
admistrative tasks in the web interface.  I'll see if I can find the
thread and get back to you...

installed and would like to use the web interface (put localhost:631 as
the address in a browser):
