kdelibs-data won't upgrade?

I've broken the kdelibs metapackage on my Warty/Hoary system (that has
KDE added to Ubuntu's normal Gnome. Apparently "default.kde" folder in
/usr/share/icons/ conflicts with knetworkconf's ownership of same. How
do I get out of this mess?

Here is the error section from Synaptic:

Preparing to replace kdelibs-data 4:3.4.0-0ubuntu3 (using
.../kdelibs-data_4%3a3.4.0-0ubuntu3.1_all.deb) ...

package knetworkconf
Errors were encountered while processing:

Failed to apply all changes! Scroll in the terminal buffer to see what
went wrong.
