OpenOffice.org1.9.79 Open

I'm using OOo 1.9.79, evidently, upgrading isn't a good idea right
now, so I'll just wait.  Over-all I am very satisfied with this BETA,
and have no major complaints.

But, when I open a file via nautilus, OOo does more work than I want
it to.  It opens the file AND it opens an empty document.  I'm pretty
sure this is OOo's issue because no other programs exhibit this
behavior.

Has anyone else come up with a solution for this?
