Thanks Bob and Ari, I was already 99.9% sold on Seagate, I guess it's
100.0% now ;o)

I am mostly concerned with overall silence of operation, performance
only second, and I read everywhere that the current Barracuda range of
drives are incredibly silent, at least compared to the current
competition. Then I gathered that they are also one of the most
reliable, and come with a long warranty period to top it all.
So it's just perfect for me :-)
