Ok, I just tried it within 1.0.3 (nonUbuntu) and it didn't reproduce the 
issue that your speaking about I would recommend maybe installing 
Firefox from the website http://www.getfirefox.com and then trying with 
that. If  the issue does not persist please file within Ubuntu's 
bugzilla and not Firefox's.
