boot from cd

You have to set the boot sequence in the bios. Hit F2 or DEL when the 
computer starts, enter the bios menu and set it to boot from cd.
If your bios does not support boot from cd, you have to create a boot 
floppy. See http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/SmartBootManagerHowto for that.
