my hotplug is broken in hoary

huh? sd-mod gets automatically loaded by some "scsi-agent". and yes, i
can manually mount the media, but this is really not the ubuntu way, i
think.

sadly, i had to reinstall to solve the problem but the broken install is
still available for testing. so, more suggestions are welcome.
