[hoary] /etc/init.d/hpoj changing ownership of /etc /var /var/run

Hi all,
I have a strange problem with /etc/init.d/hpoj on my hoary: whenever it
starts /etc  /var /var/run ownership changes to hpojlp:lp

I suppose it should only be done only for /etc/ptal and /var/run/ptal-*

any clue?
