    No, it is not showing up. So, it is not automatically mounted.
    I tried to use both the kernel 2.6.10.5-386 and 2.6.10.5-686. The
problem will always be there.

   I did modprobe udf. This problem is still not solved.

  By the way, my /etc/fstab turns out to be
/dev/hda6       /               reiserfs notail          0       1
/dev/hda7       /home           reiserfs defaults        0       2
/dev/hda5       none            swap    sw              0       0
/dev/hdc        /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 ro,user,noauto  0       0
/dev/fd0        /media/floppy0  auto    rw,user,noauto  0       0
/dev/hda1       /mnt/windows  ntfs    umask=0222      0       0
