For the record, dual printer scanners are only a problem under
Linux if there's no driver. I use Epson CX3200's at work and
they install and work flawlessly under Linux. Linux printer support
is somewhat patchy. An example being an office I migrated over to
Linux recently and their £700 networked Epson laser printer has absolutely
no Linux support at all. Linuxprinting.org described it as "a large, expensive
paperweight". Had to sell it and replace it with a Lexmark one instead.
Not much help to your current situation, just had to set the record
straight.
