kernel 2.6.10-5 doesnt boot with asus l8400c notebook

 I am seeing the exact same thing, running on a Scaleo T Fujitsu Siemens. I 
don't have the 2.6.10-4 kernel available, so I am stuck with 2.6.8. (The 
latest versions of 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 have this problem).
 I have posted this a few times in the forums, but no real solutions have 
been presented.
 Too bad that hoary is a step backwards in terms of hardware compatabillity, 
at least that is my experience.
