missing /dev/radio

I don't use /dev/radio but what you are looking for may be -

$ ls -l /.dev/radio
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 6 2005-04-08 09:06 /.dev/radio -> radio0
                                            ^
                                           note
 
If you want a symlink /dev/radio you will probably need to configure
this with udev.
